Caribbean Premier League (CPL) action continued at the Providence Stadium with the Guyana Amazon Warriors (GAW) taking on the Barbados Royals.
GAW was seeking revenge over the Royals, who defeated them by 32 runs at the Kensington Over in Barbados.
Taking the crease first, GAW’s batting lineup, which included Shai Hope, Shimron Hetmyer, and Azam Khan showed the mean business setting the Royals 220 runs for victory.
The Royals tried to respond but fell short by 47 runs.
