The Embassy of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela extends an invitation to Vincentians to visit the Simón Bolívar School vessel during its official visit to St Vincent and the Grenadines this week. The vessel is scheduled to be in the Caribbean Island from Thursday, April 25 to Sunday, April 29, 2024.
A formal welcome ceremony will take place at Port Kingstown on Thursday at the Cruise Ship Berth at 9 am. The public, as well as students from primary, secondary, and the SVG Community College, are welcome to visit the vessel from Thursday, starting from 2 pm until 7 pm. Guided tours will be available, led by the crew members.
From Friday to Sunday, all Vincentians and international visitors are invited to explore the vessel. The Simón Bolívar School vessel serves as a training vessel for the Navy of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, providing training to cadets and future officers of the Venezuelan navy while showcasing the country’s image at all ports of call.
